Whenn app: a guide to death admin

We rarely feel comfortable talking about death, but that doesn’t help when someone close to us dies.

Sarah’s new death tech startup tackles the admin that becomes our job when someone close to us dies. Her app, Whenn, helps us prepare better for the practicalities of death in the digital age. It helps us share useful information with next of kin and help families find greater peace of mind on this difficult topic.

She’s building Whenn now with the help of wonderful people like you. Come and join us.

Secure travel design

Sarah’s first company, Riut, makes city travel safer for commuters around the globe. The problem: the stranger behind you can open your conventional backpack. Sarah’s solution: rebuild city backpacks with no outer zips and all the zips hidden neatly against your back. She launched the RiutBag on Kickstarter and sparked a new global anti-theft backpack industry.

Thanks to each RiutBag user who made - and makes - this idea and the Revolution in user thinking (Riut) a reality. Order now: www.riut.co.uk

Make art every day

Music and poetry are critical to the way Sarah thinks and processes reality. She’s currently recording music she wrote in response to her father’s death. Read her poetry about life on mars.
